Brooklyn Food Conference

It’s going to be another live weekend in BK.  Not only is the Brooklyn Museum having its monthly First Saturdays extravaganza, but the Brooklyn Food Conference is also taking place on May 2nd.  Over 500 food activists, enthusiasts, and folk simply looking img_02482for a ‘ good way to spend a Saturday afternoon are expected to descend upon John Jay High School in Park Slope for this one day gathering.  With supporters ranging from the Added Value to Vox Pop, the Brooklyn Food conference promises to be a rewarding experience for anyone looking to improve access to quality food in Brooklyn and to ensuring that Brooklyn’s quality food shares stay good, affordable and accessible to all of the borough’s residents.
