Rabbi Menachem Schneerson died on June 12, 1994, but tonight marks the 15th anniversary of his death on the Jewish calendar.

Commonly known as “The Rebbe,” Schneerson was a major figure in Brooklyn and the city as a whole, leading the Crown Heights-based Lubavitch movement for over 40 years.
