Folks on Brooklynian are talking about taking up donations for the guy who lived in the apartment where the fire started. Apparently, he lost everything.

Wow that is my exact old apartment where I spent about eight years of my life. Sad to see it in that condition. That yes is one of the oldest buildings that survived a lot of Crown Heights history. I remember seeing many of the buildings in the area abadoned. This building was the only life existing on the Franklin Ave/ Park Ave area. It is also sad to see that this person lost everything or almost everything especially during these tough times.
