Sadly, the rumor mill has it that the Brooklyn Beverage (Beer) Barn, which we blogged about earlier, is closed for good.  Based on the second hand reports from the rumor mill [NP1]: despite the great concept behind BBB, the sales  were stilted.  The owner wanted to re-open the establishment as a beer bar to boost sales, however, his plans were thwarted by the Albany shinanigans (couldn’t get the liquor license in time).  UGH!

[NP1] We have not independently verified the rumors, but we have walked by BBB a few times and seen it closed.
