Good ol’ gravity will get it sooner or later.
But until that happens, we’ll have to live with it. The owner just snuck under the deadline, as that lot is now calendared for landmarking and any new applications for building permits will be run by Landmark Preservation Commission staffers. Somehow I don’t think this one would have passed.
I have heard from a usually reliable source that the owner plans to live there. I guess he doesn’t understand how offended the community is by his creativity. Live and learn.
the house that was there before was litterally leaning and crumbling, so i think they had to tear it down. this replacement condo building is very ugly however
