The New York Times recently endorsed Brooklyn City Council Member David Yassky in the upcoming Democratic Primary for Comptroller. Yassky who’s running against fellow council members Melinda Katz, John Liu, and David Weprin. The Times cite the one time Schumer protege’s professorial manner, and advocacy on behalf of small busiinesses and more affordable housing as reasons behind their endorsement.
Do you agree with The Times’ endorsement? Should they have chosen one of the other candidates?
