After months of work the previously empty storefront at the intersection of Nostrand and Bergen appears to have a client.  The new tenant is Chris’ Caribbean and American Restaurant, an enterprise that area residents may remember from its current location a block away at Nostrand and St. Marks. We have yet to confirm what will happen to the current Chris when the new Chris opens: will there be two Chris Caribbean Restaurants? And wait, doesn’t CBS already have a show about an old and a new Chris(tine)?

What we do know for sure is that the new Chris promises to have more space than current Chris. Diners will be able to sit down and not only have to settle for take out. Anyone have any other info?
