Now that most people have had enough time to sample all three, we here at NP want to hear your thoughts on which is the best coffee shop on Franklin Avenue?
Its obvious that this poll was created by brooklyn coffee…For business reasons, They are probly getting hammered on by the 10 other coffee places on Franklin.
Hey end of the day coffee is better on franklin Ave. But it seems every time BCH gets support from voters pulp and bean comments about how the bch made this voting pole thing happen. I had both coffees and BCH better coffee and offer a specialized product. I like that Plup and bean offers everything, however this voting on the best coffee house seems to be trying to make a corner store (PnB) seem to have to make them self seem relevant in a coffee house war that is like comparing apples to oranges. The truth is they are not and every time they catch up to BCH it is only because they are begging for support so BCH does not blow them out of the box, when in truth BCH can not because PnB is not a coffee house. They are a stop and go spot that serves coffee. BCH is a coffee house that specializes in being great at everything they do. Pulp and beans is not but they are good at what they do. What that is I am not sure but they are good at that.
The truth honestly you don’t understand wat the hell ur talkin about the purpose of this poll is to find out which coffee house the public likes best. All you did was spit out random opinion that everyone could care less about. I’m sorry but that’s “the truth”.
it seems the only time bch get any attention is when they bad mouth me. i love “the truth” vision on what a coffee shop should be like. I think for my next pnb i will open a store wih very little choices. not have any sugar or milk, serve coffee like thoose snobs and call it a coffee shop. Are you kidding?
Thanks for all the support.

PnB coffee is the best, bar none. The only people who prefer BCH coffee, are the people who think that they are doing the right thing by buying organic. Coffee is a beverage, which contains caffeine. Drinking an organic version doesn’t make it good for you, don’t fool yourself. Having said that, taste wise, I have yet to taste a better coffee beverage than what is offered at the Pulp. The choices that are offered there are also delicious and innovative. They are willing to try new items and are willing to sample them out to the customers.
In terms of appearance, well that”s a no brainer, the woodwork, the equiptment, even the sign in the front, I mean a lot of pride went into that shop. In comparison BCH used green paint and two window etchings. Cost effective, but did nothing that a Yemeni corner store hasn’t done before.
That’s my 2 cents.
From everything I’ve heard about and read posted by Tony Fisher on these forums he seems like a bitter, malicious man. Instead of promoting his business in a positive, professional way he appears to prefer badmouthing fellow business owners and mocking those community members who would patronize another shop. Denigrating those of us who choose to drink organic, fair trade coffee and milk (for the betterment of everyone involved – but that’s another rant) is not the way to ingratiate yourself to a paying public. Mr. Fisher has successfully ensured that I (and anyone I know) will never set foot in his shop.
BCH, Bruekelen Coffee House hands down, love the pastries and its a chill vibe; I hate that Dawsns Creek shit.
BCH. Not even close. Hot Cocoa is something worth traveling for and the BCH vibe = Brooklyn.

Actually Azizy this poll is totally of our making here at NP. It’s a precursor to an upcoming entry on the coffee shop scene on Franklin.
@Trinity

So when is this upcoming entry on the coffee shop scene going to be put out so everyone can see?

Great coffee. Great atmosphere.
I like BCH the best for coffee so far! They really seemed to know their product!!!!
PnB, is not bad. I actually enjoy their bagels, but I really like BCH the best for coffee!

Pulp and Bean is crowned “COFFEE KING OF FRANKLIN”!!
I think the neighborhood likes CHOICES.
I wish both places the best of luck.., I just personally like BCH’s coffee better. I like PnB juice selection.
Wish one or both would do freshly squeezed juices.
Time will tell in terms of the commercial viability for the 2 places.
