Are you a Crown Heights based artist or artisan who wants to show the world your talent?  Well we would love to feature you as part of our new “Crown Heights Artist Corner,” which is a series we’re creating to promote and showcase the works of the local arts community.   To enter “the Corner”, all you have to do is submit:

• a picture of yourself.
• a link, excerpt, clip,picture or video representative of your work, designs, products, etc.
• a 3 – 5 sentence bio/description of your style, influences, etc.
• a link to your website (if you have one).
• a note about how long you have lived in Crown Heights.
• any type of quote from you that you would want us to include about you that will give readers a flavor for who you are and what you are about.

We welcome submissions from any and all Crown Heights artists and artisans – writers, filmmakers, painters, photographers, designers, furniture makers, jewelry makers, etc.   In honor of black history month, we will feature local black artists during the month of February.  Email us at nostrandpark[at]gmail[dot]com.  Please include “Nostrand Park Artist Corner” in the subject line.

Depending on interest and demand, we may not be able to show all submissions that we receive, and we reserve the right to decline to post submissions as we deem appropriate.  Note, we may ask for proof of Crown Heights residency.
