A Primer for the Public

The Brooklyn Bar Association’s Meeting Hall

On Monday March 1st, 2010 the Brooklyn Bar Association in conjunction with The Brooklyn Bar Association Foundation, Inc.,The Brooklyn Bar Association Volunteer Lawyer’s Project, Inc., and the Brooklyn Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service will present a panel discussing Landlord and Tenants’ Rights in New York.  This workshop is intended as a primer for those interested in learning more about navigating the often murky realm of landlord and tenant conflicts that proliferate throughout New York.  Monday’s panel will feature expert panelists Jeffrey D. McCready, Esq. Principal Law Clerk to the Honorable Cheryl D. Gonzalez Kings County Housing Court and Jaime Lathrop, Esq. Director, Foreclosure Intervention Project, Brooklyn Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project.  This event runs from 6pm – 8pm and will take place at 123 Remsen Street Brooklyn Heights, New York.  123 Remsen is accessible via subway: 2,3,4,5 to Borough Hall – A, C, F to Jay Street and M, R to Court Street.
