It’s every kid’s favorite pastime, a snow day.  Waking up on a weekday during the school year knowing that you can watch cartoons to your hearts content, shower or not shower, and most of all, have no homework for the weekend, has to rank second only actually winning the lottery in terms of childhood dreams.

Of course for us adults, the snow may be a bit more more of a hindrance.  Trains may be unpredictable, and if you’re driving back, you have to be careful, especially turning the corners on the side streets.  Sanitation will be on a limited schedule and alternate side of the street parking is suspended.

Moreover, some area organizations are already canceling weekend events.  So if you had something marked down on your calendar to attend this weekend, it might be worth checking in to see if it’s still happening.

Adult snow woes aside – We hope that everyone takes a little time to conjure up our inner kid and has a great SNOW DAY!!!!  Be careful, be safe, enjoy.
