Recruitment!

NP Editors Note: Click the link to the oral history blog below and follow the progress of four students from Paul Robeson High School as they endeavor to document the history of our neighborhood. This is perhaps one of the easiest ways that we all can support our local youth.  They’d probably be even more encouraged if you posted a comment. If our young people see how receptive the community is to their positive work, perhaps the project can garner even more interest from local youth.

We will only publish excerpts on NP, but the link to the full blog post is provided below.  So without further ado:

On Monday February 22nd Ansie and I went out on Franklin Avenue to recruit people for interviews. We went to different businesses such as grocery stores, restaurants, and laundromats. The business owners were really nice; they let us put up our signs inside their business and agreed to give our business cards to their customers.
