On Saturday March 2oth, join the NAACP Brooklyn Branch as they conduct a community count. The NAACP along with city council representative Letitia James and the Crown Heights Revitalization Movement (CHRM) are encouraging area residents to come out, complete their forms together and Be Counted. LET THE COUNTRY KNOW THAT CENTRAL BROOKLYN/CROWN HEIGHTS COUNTS!!
These Yes We Count events are being held at the following locations:
Bedford Stuyvesant at Boys & Girls High School from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Crown Heights at Medgar Evers College from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
East New York at St. Paul Community Baptist Church from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
This local edition of the NAACP’s “Yes We Count” initiative is being led by its Brooklyn Branch, working alongside the United States Census, Mayor’s Office for the Census, Elected and Public Officials, City agencies, Community Based Organizations, Educational Institutions and Faith Based Organization to ensure that our communities receive an accurate count.
