Now through May 31st this neighborhood’s two library branches are participating in the Brooklyn Public Library’s “Support Our Shelves” campaign.  Enacted to help curtail recent budget shortfalls BPL’s “Support Our Shelves” program has been invaluable for helping area branches attract new donors so that they can continue providing their much needed programming.  During this year’s campaign area branches Brower Park and Crown Heights are both seeking to raise 2,500.  Brower Park has been adopted by Dr. Lucille Thomas who is spearheading the branch’s efforts to reach their fundraising goals.
