Dave Cook / Eating In Translation

Last month we spotted this photo in Dave Cook’s flickr photo stream.  Cook, who is the proprietor of the Eating in Translation blog, has been chronicling his sojourns through New York’s food galaxy via his website. The photos are often stunning and the commentary usually irreverent.  Cook has a light as a feather touch in his tour-guide style, at once inviting you to join him in a meal, while also giving a gentle nudge for you to undertake your own journey.  The photo above is of Punchline Juice Bar located at Nostrand Avenue near Park Place.  We’ll leave you to draw your own conclusions why we chose to feature this particular photo….
