Starlite Stories: WE NEED YOURS

A weekend dedicated to recording the history of the Starlite, Crown Heights, and the community as told by you- the patrons, friends, and family of the Starlite Lounge.

This event is crucial step in establishing cultural landmark status. The Starlite Lounge is in danger of historical erasure and your storiesand your history are very important.

We take our stories for granted because they are all around us everyday. But unless they are recorded they too will be erased. This is a wonderful opportunity to add your voice to a collection of stories that will exist for generations to come.

Please make a special effort to come down to Starlite. This is your Starlite and your history and it should not be forgotten.

Professional photographer, Kate Kunath who is a part of the Starlite documentary team, will be taking portraits (optional) at the event.  Each participant will be given a FREE portrait to take home.
