Sadly, despite valiant efforts, word is that Crown Heights is still lagging on the Census response rate.  We starting championing the importance of responding to the Census last year, but the reality is that most people who are reading this blog are likely informed enough to know the import of the census and have likely already submitted or plan to submit their form.

But the question is, how can we reach the population who might not be reading this blog or who, for any number of reasons, might abstain from filling out the form?  If you think you have some good ideas for outreach, then you should head to this evening’s forum hosted by Congresswoman Yvette Clarke to discuss strategies for increasing census turnout in these final days.
