Acclaimed writer/director and Brooklyn native Nelson George has been developing a series of web-shorts for American Airlines called Black Atlas.  In Black Atlas, George meets up with African American luminaries across the globe and invites them to give viewers a virtual tour of their neighborhoods.  In one of its recent installments, George turns the camera on himself and gives a tour of Brooklyn.  Three nearby institutions (Brooklyn Museum; Brooklyn Botanical Garden; and the Brooklyn Public Library) feature prominently in this video along with a host of other notable venues.  Check out the video below to see Nelson George’s Brooklyn Atlas
