New Bakery on Nostrand Avenue
Spotted this new bakery on the corner of Prospect Place and Nostrand Avenue recently – the sign reads “New Apache Bakery” and it looks like in addition to baked goods, such as cakes, cookies, pastries and breads, they will be serving coffee, tea, and of course … patties.

I am actually thrilled to see that Apache will be reopened. I remember my father takin me to that spot when I was a kid. I left NY and came back only to discover that it was closed. The bakery was known for their Krust and escovietch fish. I hope they will be selling the same products and hope it taste just as good. Welcome Back!!!
I live across the street from this! I hope it opens soon and has drinkable coffee!
