Central Brooklyn CSA: Our First Allotment/First Meal

These photos are from a meal prepared using produce from our first allotment of vegetables and eggs from the Central Brooklyn CSA (community supported agriculture) which comes from the farm of Martin and Gaudencia Rodriguez of MimoMex Farm. Laurie created a delicious meal using some of the items.

WOOOOWW!!! That looks amazing!!! How did you find the portions? Did you do a whole or half share? Mind giving us a run down of what was in your first allotment?
Sure! We have a full share and we picked up a head of romaine lettuce, kale, garlic scapes, radishes, sage and spinach. It was all very good quality, very fresh and delicious. I’m looking forward to see what we’ll get next week. It’s like Christmas!

It was! I think my wife just made it up as she went along. I’ll ask her if she has a recipe, though.
